Computer Microphones

Microphones and computers have gone hand in hand for a few years now, although it’s only been the last handful of years that have seen them come closer and closer. Having a microphone attached to your computer opens up a new world of possibilities such as:

  • You can now use a microphone to dictate documents instead of typing.
  • Useful for voice modems that allow you to talk to people around the globe while only paying the cost of your Internet Service Provider (ISP) bill and/or phone call.
  • Recording your own voice.
  • Videoconferencing.
  • It’s also now possible to get microphones that go with personal MP3 players that allows downloads to your computer.
