Motorcycle Alarm Systems
Generally, motorcycle alarm systems work differently from those of cars.
Shock Sensors
If your motorbike is moved, touched or otherwise tampered with, a signal will be transmitted to the alarm box, sounding a loud distress signal. As with car alarms, most motorcycle alarm sensors come with different settings to suit your environment. For example, leaving your motorcycle in a garage will require a more sensitive setting than leaving it outside in the elements.
Tilt Sensors
In much the same way that car alarms are hooked up to mercury balance sensors, motorcycles can be, too. This is an almost failsafe way of detecting interference with your bike.
Remote Receiver
Using your remote control, you can activate or deactivate the alarm, and even change alarm settings.
